If your children enjoy music and are able to stay still at a live show, they are welcome to participate. All ages can find something to enjoy in these performances, but those over 6 years get the most out of them.

The dress code is casual, although it’s best to arrive in smart but casual clothes or something fancy for the evening. Wearing formal clothes makes the event more enjoyable when hosted at venues like the Hofburg or the Vienna State Opera.

A concert usually lasts for around 1.5 to 2 hours, and there is a short break in the middle. Each evening’s line-up and the orchestra’s surroundings can make the durations vary.

The Vienna Mozart & Strauss concert features the best classical music by Mozart and Strauss, performed by skilled musicians in magnificent places such as the Hofburg Palace or the Börse Palace.

Lovely evening of elegant music

Beautiful acoustics, intimate setting, lovely performance.

Elegant evening of Mozart and Strauss

As a first-time visitor, I liked the intimate atmosphere at Börse Palace and the clear acoustics. The musicians were polished, and the Mozart and Strauss selection felt balanced. My seat was comfortable, though the ticket pickup took a few extra minutes, so I’d allow a little time beforehand.
